Built for how leave works in Ireland

Most leave tools are built elsewhere and adapted. You2Off starts from the Irish rules.

Next Irish public holiday: October Bank Holiday — Monday, 26 October 2026

  • Ireland's ten public holidays are computed from the statutory rules — St Brigid's Day and the moving bank holiday Mondays included — so the calendar is right every year.
  • Public holidays stay separate from annual leave, the way the Organisation of Working Time Act treats them, so balances don't quietly under-count.
  • An approval trail for the three-year record-keeping obligation — who requested what, who approved it, when.

Common questions

Is You2Off really free?

Yes. Companies with up to 5 employees use every feature free, with no credit card and no trial period. Above 5 employees there is a one-time €29 Pro upgrade for unlimited staff.

Does it handle Irish public holidays?

Yes. Ireland's ten public holidays are calculated from the statutory rules, including St Brigid's Day and the moving bank holiday Mondays, so the dates are correct every year without anyone maintaining a list.

How do employees log in?

Each company gets a unique company code. Employees sign in with that code, their email and their password, which keeps every company's data separate.

Is our employee data GDPR compliant?

Employee data is isolated per company, passwords are hashed, and traffic is encrypted. Employees can export their own data or request erasure from their profile page.

Can we use it on a phone?

Yes. The web app works on mobile browsers, and a token-authenticated API powers the companion mobile app.
